Philip supports companies in the digital and creative industries in securing and exploiting their intellectual property. His advisory scope includes, for example:
- Developing strategies for protecting IP domestically and abroad
- Conducting searches for proprietary rights
- Trademark and design registrations and IP portfolio management
- Drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, framework agreements or general terms and conditions
- Reviewing planned advertising measures
- Asserting or defending claims
Philip has a particular specialization in the area of online trademark protection (Digital Brand Protection). Together with his team, he has already transferred well over 100 domains to the legitimate trademark owners via alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He also advised on the successful launch of five .brand new gTLDs.
In corporate law, his focus is on:

- Financing (private equity and venture capital) In shareholder disputes, he acts as a strategic-thinking advisor and mediator.
In addition, he is active as the regional-group representative of the Working Group Intellectual Property and Media (AGEM) in the German Bar Association (DAV) and as a coach and lecturer in the “Start-up Competition – Digital Innovations” of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs (BMWK).
